Jevon is 6 months old today in Bali and it is amazing to think that back on June 30th he was still inside Ika. Ika thinks Jevon is about 7.8kgs right now, which a decent size. He’s not fat, but has enough meat on him. Here in Indonesia some parents like to stuff their kids, particularly the Chinese Jakartans. I’ve seen some rolly polly toddlers.
This morning a negihbor brought over a baby of similar age. Lovina has Japanese parents and has met Jevon at the local shop many times before. The Balinese lady who takes care of her sits there and Ika takes Jevon. One of the favourite toys is a wind up yellow chicken that bounces around. Kids love it as well as a rubber ball I picked up at the WebMasterWorld conference.
Jevon seems like he enjoys meeting other kids. I told Ika I am not going to spoil him with gifts as I want him to share.
