Sitting here in the BootsnAll office in Portland office I am 30 minutes away from driving to the airport for a trans-Pacific flight. It’s Tuesday here and my connections are Portland-Seattle-Seoul-Denpasar, arriving sometime on Thursday. Seoul airport is modern, which is good because I will be crashing on one of their couches. Last night we went to the wonderful Acadia for pork chops & steak. Brian LaFrance, a computer guy from Phoenix, Arizona who has been working with us said his chop was the ‘best in the world’. It looked like a Sunday roast! We knocked down 3 bottles of red wine (Oregonian, Californian and Australian) with the Aussie coming out the heaviest and tastiest.
In the last few days I have been updating my hardware with a new laptop (the old motherboard is toast), GPS, iPod and a ton of online appliances that will keep me on track. I have so many URL’s, usernamne and passwords my head is spinning.
Ika and Jevon are in my thoughts and I have gifts for both of them, plus a little something for Anna, the pembantu. It’s my pleasure to report on Bali for you. I’m interested to see how things are after a month away.
