Ika has been a mother for over 10 months already. There have been huge changes in Jevon, from the screaming little package we brought home, to a kid that can react to his surroundings. Compared to western women, and other Indonesian women who have to wash, clean, cook and work, Ika’s life is a dream.
Learning to deal with a new kid and changing your own life is a strange beast, but one that is rewarding. Today I asked Ika about being a mother and about kids names in Indonesia. Here’s what Ika said.
