Taking the family to the beach in Seminyak Bali
Wednesday is my last day in Bali for a while, so I took Ika and Jevon down the road to the beach. Many Indonesians like to take their babies and young kids to the beach at dawn, as they believe the first light of day is healthy for a baby.
Jevon loves water, whether its playing with the pembantu’s soapy washing, squirting the hosepipe, or taking a bath. Today he just wanted to run into the water. This morning the sun was shining, waves were crashing sand there was not too much junk in the water. This is a nice way to leave, with a good memory of Bali and the place we live.
