Sunday bbq at The Beach House in Canggu Bali
Sunday evening Ika, Jevon, Andy and i took taxi out to Canggu for a bbq at The Beach House. I have been there before in the day time and this time we manged to take a wrong turn. We ended up at Barawa beach in Canggu instead of Echo Beach.
Not to worry, our taxi driver finally got us to The Beach House where a rocking bbq was happening. the Beach House is a modern beach side bar that has a beach front bbq, bar and band, playing mostly rock hits. I loved it especially as they served Storm beer, buy 2 and get 1 for free!
The deal with the bbq is that you choose from a selection of kebabs, steaks, fish, pork etc. and get freee salad and rice. Ika loved the free bread and asked if she cuold take it home. I said yes, but not the whole table (she's slowly getting used to the way it works in western countries).
Andy met Cody and Jeff from Oklahoma and learned that Oklahoma is OK! Neither of these guys likes real beer and they also expressed concern that the supply of Aussie sheilas would diminish after after the bombing. I though 'god its going to be a steep learning curve for you 2 blokes'.
The Beach Shack wa packed with people, mostly expats and I ran into Miranda from Holland who lives in Canggu. She said "It seems like everyone has come out here tonight." The bbq is every Sunday and it a real good time. Try to make it if you don't mind the 35 minutes from Kuta.

Nice to see people still going on with their lives, glad to hear your family is safe and well.
Just looking for a little info, do you know where there is a shop in bali that sells remote control cars, my sons’ friend just brought one and doesn’t remember the location. As we will be there in 3 wks.
