Linda Van Hoff is an amazing lady. Originally from New Zealand, she has raised 2 lovely kids and is home schooling them here in the mountains of Bali. Linda and Norm live inside the last real section of jungle in Bali and she told me that tour groups come up here to 'explore' while she and the family live here as normal. Linda used to certify organic farms in Bali. The demand for organic produce from large hotels and restaurants has spurned many farms growing western favorites such as lettuce, tomatoes and other things not in the Balinese diet. Linda is a repository of knowledge on the organic food movement and remedies. She gave me a box of bottles of the Bali Belly Buster, a solution containing colloidal silver, guaranteed to knock out the ill feelings and get you on a fast track to health. Bali Belly Buster is sold at Bali Deli, Dijon Deli, Bali Buddha in Ubud and other places in the main tourist areas.
