Nyepi night in Seminyak Bali

The time now is 9pm on Nyepi night. Looking out my window its pitch black with no noise, quite cool actually. Awang, Ika, Ningrum and I have just bbq’d, cooking steak. brats, kebabs and chicken. Ika made rice, cassava ( like a long potato), salad and vegetables.

It went well, with me positioning candles in places that were high enough that Jevon could not get them, and low enough that they would not burn the roof down. We might watch a movie shortly, if we can get the player to work. All we have to do is relax and another Nyepi day will be over shortly.
