Sunday in Seminyak is usually a day I try to take off. Actually I usually do some stuff for part of the day and take Ika somewhere when I get the chance. This Sunday I don’t have a plan but would like explore some of the areas around the Nusa Dua area a bit more. Not just the beach, but the restaurants too. Nusa Dua is the high end resort area in Bali and is a world unto itself. They have a new shopping area down there and I want to check that out too.

If you were staying in Kuta why would you go to Nusa Dua? Well there aren’t many reasons, but a couple are watersports (paragliding, jet-skiing, banana boat etc. The Nusa Dua area has a reef around it making it safer to swim at, inside the reef than Kuta Beach.

There are way less people, and way less beach vendors, so that might be a draw for some people. Getting to Nusa Dua is easy, the Bypass will get you there from Kuta in 20 minutes. The fare might be 50,000rp.
