Going to Raja’s in Seminyak

Raja’s restaurant has re-opened in Seminyak. The October 2005 bomb target, now has a massive upstairs location, across the Bintang supermarket parking lot. I went there the other night for some nasi campur.

Raj’s used to be pretty much exclusively for tourists in Tuban / Kuta. Prices were a bit high. Things have changed, and I got a whopping nasi campur for 20,000rp, including satay, chicken leg and a lot of other stuff. Raja’s has a huge projector screen, which was changed from the Fashion Channel, to soccer at my request.

Ika suggested we go there tonight, so I’m looking forward to a large cold Bintang and some ‘NC’. Ika loves taking Jevon out, because for all the positive feedback she gets. Yesterday at a shipping office, the whole place stopped work and 4 girls came over to cuddle Jevon. “We want one like that.” one of them said. “You’ll need a man like him.” said one of the male employees.

Saturday nights are quiet affairs for me, and probably I will watch a movie after dinner. That offer of 100 DVD’s and 50 free is tempting eh!
