Give me power: Bali internet
After a quick nasi campur at Warung mimpi on Jl. Dhyana Pura, I walked home to get back online. My internet connection was off and after some investigation, I discovered it was the power regulator (Stavol) that was not functioning.
Stavol’s are necessary in Bali as the voltage fluctuates and can cook a piece of equipment. The Stavol uses a fuse, which was undamaged and the unit itself looks almost new. I only bought it a couple of months ago, but know these devices stop working after so long. Very frustrating indeed. Now instead of working on my site, I have to go around and try to buy another Stavol.
At least I have internet cafes handy.
