Ika has taken Jevon to the house of her sister's boyfriend in Legian for an afternoon. Ningrum (22) has a 45 year old boyfriend from California who is a surfer. She said she likes him because he treats her nice and seems content.
Ika generally does not ask for much and anytime I give her money I know a part of it goes directly to her brother. We were talking about money recently and she came up with a list of monthly expenses. After I looked it over she said "I would like to ask 50,000rp for the pocket." You would be amazed, when I give Ika money for food she and Ana can buy groceries for themselves and have a stash of ingredients handy, which when combined with a plate of rice equal a meal. Today Ika told me wanted sports shoes in order to work out when I am in the US. I'm all for that and told her I will buy her a few t-shirts, size XS.
