Employment visas for Indonesia differ from countries like the US. A foreigner trying to get a work visa in the US has to have an air-tight set of credentials, otherwise forget in. Here in Indonesia employment visas are easily obtainable, the thing you have to be prepared for is red tape.
The Jakarta Post reports on the employment visa processing there, and says that using an ‘agent’ or ‘consultant’ is the best way to go for many foreigners. Here in Bali I use Arjuna on Jl. Petitenget in Kerobokan and they have always been good. Just show up and tell them hat kind of visa you ant and they will take care of all the headaches.
