Dinner at Warung Murah in Legian Bali

Saturday evening I was ready for food and asked Ika where she wanted to eat. After 30 minutes she said Warung Murah on Jl. Double Six. We quickly got Jevon into the carrying sling, strapped on our helmets and zipped down there.
Warung Murah is popular with surfers and older Dutch couples and surfers a great selection of Indonesia food. Ika likes the weird animal parts like heart, chicken heads etc. They actually don’t serve chickens heads but do have chicken liver I think.

While she was picking out the bits and pieces that tickled her fancy, I went for the slabs of chicken, piles of rice and potatoes, plus a good helping of veg. Our bill including drinks was 36,000rp. Warung Murah was busy tonight, with people from Australia, France, Brasil, Holland.

We are looking more like the stereotypical mixed marriage. Older guy, younger woman plus kid, one a motorbike. Never thought it would happen to me, but here I am.
