New laptop, return to Bali, get straight back to work right. Not exactly. Before I could get online at my house using Blueline connection, I had to buy more credit. Their office is in Kuta Galleria, so I shot downtown on the new motorbike Ika rented and bought 1,000,000rp worth of credit.
Blueline charges 1.1m rp for the card. I get charged for the amount of data going up and down my pipe, not the time I am online. It works out okay for me and the speed is decent. THe way they get you is the 250,000rp per month service fee. I have been out of the country for a while plus my old machine wasn’t working for a long time. No matter my account got charged.
Corneal enhansment hasn’t enhansed my very short range vision, and I misread the PIN number on the card. Calling them up at 6.15pm a service person answered and corrected my mistake. After figuring out some basic network stuff, and why I could surf Baliblog, but no other site on the web (I actually wasn’t online) I made adjustments to my new Stavol ( a stack of books to hold the plug in) and was rocking, actually online!
