Monday here in Bali I have crook stomach and a good case of the runs. This happens to many visitors to Bali due to a number of factors including the water. This time around it was my fault, some bbq chicken was the culprit.
A crook stomach in Bali combined with the heat often leads to dehydration, making the situation worse. Typing this article I feel like I’m on dope. The Bali Belly Buster, a colloidal silver solution they sell around town, is doing its work and I should be back on track soon.
If you get sick here make sure to down a few Pocari Sweats, the blue colored can you will fins in all Circle K’s. This afternoon I have to take Jevon to the hospital for a check up so I’m hoping my guts will calm down before then.

G’Day Nick,
Hope you are feeling better soon. If you want to slow down the shits but not lock in ther bug, then get some Indonesian Immodium from the Apotik. Under the counter drug but it would stop an elephant from shittin’.
Or, eat plenty of Salak. Always works for me!.
When you talked about getting ayam bakar from ‘a hole in the wall’
type warung a few days ago Nick, I had a feeeling you were taking a gamble with the bacteria bug, especially when your stomach had been away from Bali for one month.
I have heard that raspberry cordial diluted 1:10 works well.
Enjoyed going to Bali through your blog each day this year.
All the best for Xmas and the new year.
