The Bali Expat Forum is one of the best known message boards in Bali, and offers the chance to hear the thoughts, questions and complaints of current expats. Admin for the site is Bert from Holland, who is a very experienced web guy, based in Singaraja. I like Bert’s no nonsense style, when something is shit, he says its shit.
Users sign up with a profile and its possible to view the lsit of latest Topics, and check the number of Replies, and Views the post has. If you liked the post, you can click on Author, to see all the posts they’ve made.
Bali Expat Forum runs on phpBB, which is highly customizable, and is part of a range of strings / forums, operated by Bali Information. Check it out, you might read some interesting conversations.

New to this blog. Can anyone tell me where to find information on moving from Audtralia to Bali AND bringing my dog with me? I’m reading conflicting info. on this on different web-sites. Thanks all.
From my experience there are better sites about bali than this bali expat forum. i’ve followed the site a couple of months and just see a bunch of expats bitch to each other and snap all over the place at times. i’d rather go for balitravelforum.com, baliforum.com or homeinbali.com where the mood is for the most part much much better. cheers / Stevie
I will be traveling to Bali in June/July with a view of retiring in Bali. Can anyone advise of an over 55 club for singles in Bali to meet other expats and share knowledge!
