Wismilak tennis tournament about to start in Nusa Dua Bali

Bali has a tennis event coming up that is part of the WTA tour, the Wismilak International Tennis Tournament. The location is the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua and the event runs from September 11-18.

Among the participants are Lindsey Davenport, US Open winner Svetlana Kuznetsova and Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario. Tournament director Kevin Livesey said "The reputation of the tournament as one that offers fierce competition in a relaxing environment is a tribute to all those who make the Wismilak International such a popular event with both players and spectators." He's paid to say that so whatever, but its true that Bali does provide a relaxing, fun and affordable place to enjoy a major competition.

The all-women event will be covered on ESPN and Star Sports. Tickets can be purchased at various venues in major tourism points in Bali. Outlets include:
