Writing this post I am sitting in my upstairs bedroom. The internet connection is working well, thank goodness and I can be somewhat productive. Last night it rained hard around midnight, the rain lashing the roof and the wind whipping it from side to side. I slept well the blustery, cloudy conditions today are actually welcome. Temperatures are cool, which when you are confined to the house are more comfortable.
This morning my relatives were washing clothes in the garden using buckets and tubs, before cooking sausages and eggs. Not being one who likes to loads up on grease early in the day, I settled for 2 small bananas, some watermelon and star fruit. Upstairs I sipped a strong Bali kopi while the rest of the crew watched Indonesian TV.
