Arriving late friday afternoon in Ubud, Ika, Jevon and I were very comfortable as far as temperature. Ubud is at a higher elevation than Kuta / Seminyak, thus enjoys cooler weather. I wore a t-shirt and a long sleeve Nike shirt, Ika a t-shirt and thin jacket.
Travelling by motorbike can chill you for sure, though by the time we arrived, we were still fine. Our guest house does not have AC, but has a ceiling fan. I’m finding that during the day in Ubud, you can work up a sweat, if you are out in the sun walking around. Other than that, its very comfortable, and last night we were out, myself wearing just a longsleeve shirt.
On my hike in Campuhan this morning, I noticed that in forested sections, the land was quite dry and dusty. It hasn’t rained here in a while, and reminded me of East Bali. Certianly if you lpan of exploring areas at a higher elevation than Ubud, say Bedugal, or Kintamani, bring a sweater / jacket and long pants for thr evenings.
