Tommy Suharto a spoilt little boy in Jakarta

Schapelle Corby is sitting in Kerobokan jail doing 20 years years for drug importation. This might seem harsh, particularly when another jail bird is living the high life.

As IndCoup reports, Tommy Suharto, son of the former dictator, is making forays to downtown Jakarta these days. Tommy was convicted of hiring a hitman to kill a Supreme Court judge. The murder happened and Tommy got a 15 year sentence. That sentence has been reduced to 7 years (maybe it wasn’t one of the good judges he killed) and as well as that Tommy has been getting major time out of jail.

According to IndCoup this adds up to 13 days a month! Not bad at all, for someone who shouldn’t see daylight again.

Yep. Indcoup is doing a great job covering the ongoing scandals in Indonesia, as well as longtime blogger Jakartass. And there are the relatively new, great bloggers such as Treespotter and Greenstump, plus Indonesia Matters is a worthwhile daily read. All have RSS reads.

And Barrie puts up some wonderful photos of his past adventures in Bali and Java. The world of bloggers interested in Indonesia has recently just go better and better.
