MASAM: Sour, Acid.
Example:

Mangga muda ini masam sekali-This young Mango is very sour.

Muka masam-Sullen, Glum.

Jangan masam saja mukamu-Do not always look so sullen.

Memasam: Become sour.
Example:

Susu itu telah memasam-The milk has become sour.

Memasamkan: Make sour, Pickle, Acidify.
Example:

Ibu memasamkan timun untuk acar-Mother makes pickles out of cucumbers.

Memasamkan lahan pinus-Acidify the terrain where pines grow.

Kemasaman: Unfriendliness, Acidity.
Example:

Kemasaman tanah-acidity of the soil.

Kemasam-masaman: Rather sour.

Note: Asam also means sour and is more generally used in conversation.
