Hi Barrie,
I have been told that if you say “Mimpi indah” to someone you are wishing them “Sweet dreams”. Is this correct?
Our baby if a girl will be called Indah Rose…
Rex, I think Mimpi Manis is sweet dreams….
Nick you got any names picked yet?
Hi Bazza too…
Sorry my system is dying a slow death & won’t allow me on so it’s few & far between!!!!!
Hi Rex,
Tracey is correct. ‘Mimpi manis’ is the generally accepted term for ’sweet dreams’. The opposite being ‘Mimpi buruk’ - nightmare!.
Hi Tracey,
Indah Rose is a beautiful name. Not long now eh. Kapan?.
You did mention when you’d be there in November but remind me with a date. I’m sure I’ll be there. I am booked to return on the 29th, but, it seems I will be doing a turn-around after rennewing my visa!
Barrie,
We arrive on Nov 26th..”Maddy’s 7th B’day!”.. Will be there til Dec 12th I think….
Not long enough, but all we can manage at this stage!
About 18-19 wks to go…..
Bad back pain, which I had with Maddy too, but it’s all worth it!
Yep I love the name too & Jude Marley for a boy, not Indo, but baby will also be (depending on gender) Ni Made or I Made
Hey Folks,
Always remember that the word ‘Indah’ is only used in reference to INANIMATE objects.
Tracey,
A better word for ‘indah’ as far as a baby’s name is concerned would then be ‘Ayu’. That means ‘beautiful’.
