Gelak tawa-Hearty laughter.

Bergelak-gelak: Chuckle, Chortle.

These “gelak” words sounds new to me… as they’re not commonly used, except for “gelak tawa” :-) Thanks Barrie for showing me this, your BI even better than mine! hehe… :-D

Hi Vivie,

Gelak is a word rarely used. More commonly for ‘laughter is ‘Tertawa’ - To Laugh.

I like to mix the words up so that people get a variety.
In the Indonesian language there are severl words that have the same meaning.
