Okay, let’s try a crack at a sentence in which to use this “new” word:
Rambut dia (ber)warna apa?
What color is his hair?

G’Day Nick,

Putting the word ‘warna’ into a sentence so folks will understand and be able to use when shopping etc.

Formal version:

‘Apakah kamu ada warna lain?’ - Do you have any other colours?

Informal version:

‘Ada warna lain? - Any other colours?

Hi Garbi,

When referring to a person you have used the correct sentence using ‘Ber’ as a prefix.

‘Rambut di berwarna apa?’ - What colour is his/her hair?

Oops!…missed out the ‘a’ on the end of ‘di’. Sorry folks. So it should have read ‘dia’ instead of ‘di’.

Garbi…there is another way of writing and using the sentence:

Rambutnya berwarna apa?

Barrie,

Yes, so I learned in school, there are several ways of asking questions of this type in BI. Thanks for the variation.
