Saturday here in Seminyak and the cloudy, windy, wet weather continues. The atmosphere here funny, because we are at the end of the wet season, but it still feels like the wet season. I can tell the beaches will be empty today,
although being Saturday, the nightlife scene will be rocking.
Ika was unaware there was a travel warning about a possible terrorist action and I’m sure most local people in Bali also have no idea. Expats and tourists today were going about their daily routine down at Bintang supermarket. I saw guys loading up their motorbikes, with surfboards getting ready to hit the surf. I saw foreign guys with their local girlfriends enjoying nasi campur and shop workers casually opening for business.
If there is a terrorist event this weekend, no one is acting like the care right now.

Really Nick !
You live in Bali.
” no one is acting like they care right now”
Do you honestly think there is going to be a terrorist ” Event ” sometime soon.
Or do you just like to ramp up the hype that eminates from from foreign governments with their hidden agendas.
Bali and Indonesia would be better off without lame bloggers trying to make headlines just for their own inflated egos.
Hey - we are planning a trip to Bali in the next day or so - it’s Apr 1st now - and would like to know if the weather is really that awful. Rain every day? Storms? Should we wait? Or is there some sun througout the day that makes it all Ok?
Thanks,
Martha
