Taking Jevon for a walk along Kuta Beach Bali

This afternoon Ika and decided to take a walk down to Kuta with Jevon. When I returned home Ika was waiting and a friend named Lina was visiting. Lina is very funny and is thinking of moving back to Jakarta. She asked me if I could find her a husband (meaning a white guy with money). We chatted for a while and I told her none of my friends have any money. The best thing to do is join a sports club or some other place where rich guys congregate and she might meet someone.

There are plenty of chicks over here looking for a boyfriend or husband to take care of them. Lina gave us a ride in her Suzuki to Jl. Melasti in Kuta where we walked to the beach. Jevon usually just sleeps or looks around. Ika brought an umbrella along to shield him from the sun, which wasn't super strong at 4.30pm, but still a decent strength. The adjustable sling she uses to carry him is very handy and soon we'll get a chair on wheels. He's growing fast and both Ika and Ningrum complain their arm gets tired holding him. The new sidewalk along Jl. Pantai Kuta means a couple can walk in reasonable comfort all the way to the bottom of the beach.

G’day Nick,

Great to read you are getting Jevon used to seeing the beach and smelling the surf. So, when are you going to teach the young un’ to surf!. I can just picture him on a mini-mal!.

I copped it all the time in Yogyakarta mate. Women asking me if I could get them a Westerner boyfriend/prospective husband.

In Yogyakarta, women outnumber men by 3 to 1.

A friend of mine told me if you want to attract women in Seminyak open a shop. You don’t even have sell anything, just open one, put some display stuff there and the news will spread there’s a new foreign guy with a shop. They’ll ome out of th woodwork.

What was your tactic in Yogya?

Hi Barrie,

How long have been living in Yogya? Are you married to a local ? Just curious. I have been to Yogya once a long time ago. It was such a fun and hip place, especially at night along the Malioboro street.

Yeah, but just don’t go to the mall on a Friday night… Barrie might be there trying to score with his unique tactic!

Hey Tony,

How come you know so much about serious whoring in Bali? Do make your living as a Pimp? Or a Gigolo (male prostitute)?
