Taking another road trip with Mick in Bali

Last night I got a surprise phone call from my friend Mick Turnbull, owner of Indo Bike Adventures. He suggested we go to Amed on the east coast via Ubud.

So here I am typing away before the 10.30am meeting at his house. I hurriedly packed my bag, naturally all my underwear is still at the laundry and they don’t have power, but that’s Murphy’s law for you.

Anyway I’ve never been to the east coast and am looking forward to it.

Weather is slightly cooler than normal with the ocean temperature a few degrees cooler. Cloudy today and might get a sprinkle. That’s good for me being a whitey.

Will post he article on Mataram soon, have the discs with me and also some commentary on Amed.

Please call into Flamboyant Beach Bungalows at Candi Dasa on your way through. I’ve been hoping to meet you to discuss websites. Several people have mentioned your name to me recently. Have to leave for UK on Sunday though, but hope to catch up beforehand. Regards Jude

I hope you got the chance to check out some new & different stuff. Did you get to take a look at “Good Karma” my favourite Romantic spot in Bali! Beautiful hotel, rooms , gardens, views EVERYTHING!
I bet it was really quiet & peaceful!
Can’t wait to hear about it..

Barrie,
it is in Amed, I will endeavour to get directions….
It is so beautiful, I believe at the time we stayed there, it was run by a Balines Man & his French wife, whom lived there in the remote place & they had the most gorgeous children.
I will try to get proper directions for you & any others, that are interested!!!

Barrie, I will contact a friend whom has the directions… Don’t want to be sending you on a “WILD GOOSE” chase!
It is Amed & I believe it is run by a Balinese Guy & his French wife. It is really beautiful, in the middle of nowhere. I will let you & any others whom are interested know once I confirm some directions!!!!!!
