Searching for swimming holes is something of a hobby for me. Its not a hard thing to do, if you have a map. Local Balinese people will often use the stream to wash, not having running water in their house and often I see them at the side of the road. If you park your car / motorbike and hike down to the bank of a stream, you should be able to hike along the bank and find places for a casual dip.
Today I crossed a bridge in the Bongan Kangin area and stopped to snap a shot of a river and possible places for bathing.
