Superbowl coming up in Bali

For all us pseudo-Yanks here in Bali an important event is almost here. Superbowl Sunday is an institution in the US with bbq’s get together’s and a general shut down of the country. At halftime water companies have to gear up for the massive surge in water use (toilets) and power companies have to get ready for the surge in power use (blenders, lights, etc).

Living in Bali means Superbowl Sunday is on Monday morning. Just as last year I will be at Double D in Legian, located next to Star Surf. The game this year is between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks. I am pulling for the Steelers out of a history of hating the Seahawks (my team, the Raiders were long time rivals). That said, I am the kiss of death for sports teams and the Seahawks will probably win.

Cody and Jeff from Oklahoma said they will be there also/ Anyone reading this is welcome to join us, we’ll be upstairs. The game starts around 8am Bali time and lasts until about 11.30am.
