I rode down to the beach here in Kuta after working online for a while to see what was going on down there. I rode my bike down Poppies Lane II to Jalan Legian, swung a right ( I had no choice its a one way ) and turned right at the end of the street on Jalan Pantai Kuta which swings around up pass the beach.
If you’ve never been to Bali there are plentiful outlets for consumer goods such as sunglasses and fake Polo shirts, you can do all your Christmas shopping in one day its awesome! This is a very familiar area to anyone who has spent a few days here before.
The skies were cloudy and tourists were winding down after a day at the beach admiring the view at low tide. I watched the Air Paradise jet land ( they have just the one ) and its a positive sign. Mr Wiranatha who owns Air Paradise launched it after the bombing ( I got to attend the party at Gado Gado ).
Beach vendors were working every angle to hook a customer including standing in front of me when I was taking photos. Okay I’ll photo you!

Tracey,I a married to an Indonesian lady and always stay in the islands for 4 months at a time. I obtain a social/budaya visa from the Indonesian Consulate. However, I don’t know if they have introduced new regulations regarding that as well. I do know the cost of that visa is AUS$125 and of course it is renewable monthly. The cost of renewing the visa late last year was Rp450.000. But hey, they might put that cost up to justify this ‘National Security’ excuse the govet has given. I will be ringing the Consulate in the morning for more info.
man!!! i miss bali!!!

OMG, That beach looks so beautiful!
Hello from Germany to the most beautiful women of the bali!
I`m a collector of all Miss contests around the world.
I planning and preparing a fantastic exhibtion ” 100 years miss germany”.
Therefor I want to include international Miss contests from every nation and
of course Miss Europe, Asia,
Africa, America, Australia, World and Universe, too!
It would be great if you could sent something from your Misses like
signed autographs, personal letter from the miss to me, photos,
advertising or even personal signed stuff like shoes or other clothes from
her miss contests or something typical from your country-also handsigned
>from the miss.
Have already lot`s of beautiful pieces in my collection and it would be a
perfect addition if I would receuve
something from your miss contests from your country.
My last exhibtion I prepared was for the children in the slums in calcutta
(look at my website).
Would be great if you could help me for my exhibtion and make me and lots of
visitors from all over the
world happy!
Sunny greetings from germany

Hi there, very interesting.
My husband is from Tuban, currently still living there awaiting his Australian Temporary Residency Visa.
We are marrying again, Traditional Balinese style in July. I can’t wait. Come along if you want! Also our 4 year old Daughter Maddison will have all of her Ceremonies & mine as well. Can you give us all more info about the 30 day visa & $50. Most of my friends are here in Melbourne mixed Indonesian/ Aust couples & we all regularly travel for months at a time.
Hope to catch up with you once we are there & will continue to check your site out & recommend it to all my friends.
Thanks,
Tracey
