What a dirty, filthy beach! And people pay to go there?

How can you or my bosses expect me to sit here & look at these pics & still concentrate on work…
PLEASE I Beg you…. STOP IT!!
Or give me the winning lotto numbers!!!!

(Tracey… Wishing she was there, instead of here!)

G’Day Nick,

Another goodie. Is that guy a mermaid in disguise or is he just looking to trap the dog in the background for a nice sate!.

That is the old guy we used to see in front of Ku De Ta. It was on the ‘way out’ of the house not on the ‘way in’.

Locals on Bali beaches seem to have a pre-occupation with burying themselves or others! Nick, perhaps you could try to get an insight why they do this. I know we all did it as kids but we grow out of it, the Balinese don’t!! Maybe there is a religious significance? Do you know Barrie?

Hi Angie,

Ya got me there!. However, I will look into it. Like most kids I buried myself in the sand when I was at the beach (sometimes my folks left me there with all kinds of threats! - wonder why?).

Angie, remember to ask Gede that question when you see us in a few weeks at Warung Agus!!!(small plug!)

I will ask him tonight & see what ridiculous response he conjures up, he will giggle & then give a stupidly ridiculous reply no doubt!!!!

I went through all my field notes etc this afternoon and can only assume that he’s buried in the sand because…

1. He’s staying cool in readiness of the day’s solar onslaught.

2. He’s secreting his body so when lovelely lady tourists pass by, he can perform lewd acts ‘out-of-sight’ whilst grinning profusely.

3. He’s keeping his stash of Bintang cool.

4. He’s found an 11thC temple buried in the sand and he’s nonchalantly looting it.

5. He’s seen a foto of Tutunkahmen and wanted to see how it felt.

6. He just couldn’t give a shit about anything and wanted to do something different!

I know the answer… this is not what Gede suggested!

I reckon he is looking through the secret place that the one missing sock goes too & he is looking for a pair!
Did you know they ended up under the sand in Bali? Well he did!!!

Angie, I reckon NO.2 is the truth!!!!

YUMMY!!!! I too am keen to pig out on Indo food, although it seeps it’s smells out of my walls daily, as Gede cooks some very smelly stuff, but tastes good!?

We are having a few friends over on Sunday for no doubt some Indo food!

I have the reply from Gede….
Some people have reflexology, some people have massage…
This man like the feeling of sand all over his skin!
