Last night I felt a cold coming on so resisted the tempatation to go to Spy Bar’s anniversary party.
I went to Bamboo Corner on Poppies I for a ginger tea and nasi goreng with extra garlic.
Anyway I felt a bit better now and am at Global Xtreme internet cafe in Kerobokan doing my best to update areas of our site and answer e-mail. When I got here at 4pm almost every seat was filled. Pretty popular place.
Barrie is arriving today and I look forward to seeing him tomorrow.
Miguel is supposed to call me anytime for a dinner appointment with some new friends. Its 5.47pm and I’m still waiting.
I’m going to replace my motorbike tomorrow when the mechanic comes. The rear light doesn’t work and I’m sick of it stalling at intersections and starting it with my leg. The problem is it stalls in gear and as the starter won’t work I have to use the kicker…fine but sometimes it jams in 2nd which makes for an exciting entry into the traffic.
Mick really should of leant me the Asprilla.
Talked to the guy who own the shop across from my house. A Balinese friend of his had his throat cut at Double Six nightclub 2 nights ago by another local. Bad scene buy at least he survived, I guess it was a on going fued between the 2…..and the Balinese seem so peaceful.
Weather is beautiful these days and getting out and doing another road trip is one the cards.

Ive finished my tour of tasmania ( not the map of tassie tours ) then raced my bike this weekend. so that explains my wankers cramps and sore arse.

Good one Rob and I am with you…no Barrie post. Must be cuz he is in Bali now. I’ll miss his insights and positive attitude.
I wish I was there now. I would love to learn more from Barrie. We miss his posts but at least we can put a face to the name from now on.
I’m going to Bali in early August by myself. It would be great to hang out with cool people.
