Sunday is overcast in Kerobokan Bali

Sitting here at Global Xtreme in Kerobokan I just got an e-mail from a friend Danielle in Eugene Oregon. She told me about sitting in the Bootbus with the boys from BootsnAll and drinking red wine.

That sounds like a good time to me. Hope to get back there some time and fire up the bbq for some of that red wine and deer meat.

Last night I finished at Kondra internet cafe on Poppies II at around midnight and then went to Sante Fe bar on Dhyana Pura for a beer. It was jumping and the usual band was playing popular tunes including their amphetamine version of ‘Volare’.

Santa Fe has cheap beer and is open to the street. Directly across the road is the Aussie bar, the Bush Telegraph, which is decked out to suit Mick Dundee, but is 90% empty.

This morning I was eagerly awaiting the result of the West Ham vs. Chelsea game ( English soccer ). West Ham needed to win or may go down to a lower division. They won 1-0 and need another good next next week, the last game of the season.

Trying to think where I should go today. Don’t want a long drive on the highway.

Hi Nick, sure was some good matches on the weekend. Even Man City beat Liverpool!. MU has Everton next week to get the League cup. they don’t deserve it in my opinion!. Did you catch up with Rob at Warung 96?. Next time you see him, could you ask Rob if he had to pay the new visa fee etc upon arrival at DPS. Cheers.

Nick,

That WestHam game was so exciting. If you have the chance you should definitely see it or just catch the highlights. Paolo Di Canio, what a story.
