Sitting in Starbucks Discovery Mall Bali
Sitting here in Starbucks Discovery Shopping Mall, I am listening to classical music. At 9am I am the only customer. After beginning the new 4-posts a day schedule I was getting used to spending most of the day in my room checking Google alerts. Last night my machine starting playing up (USB ports will not work and the keyboard started to malfunction) so I took it to the repair guy at Global Xtreme in Kerobokan. I am not sure when I will get it back but fortunately I still have my Alpha Smart handy allowing me to knock out content like a banshee.
Before leaving the house today I applied a generous amount of sun-block to exposed parts of my body. As Murphys Law would have halfway down Jl. Legian we got a flash downpour, meaning quickly dismounting and getting under my poncho. Sean had borrowed the poncho while he was here and told me it tore slightly while he was pulling it over his head. At first I did not realize the hole was halfway down my chest and then the rain started to get in. No worries I am sure a roll of duct tape will see to it.
My coffee of the day medium (or tall of whatever they call it) and a blueberry muffin cost 38,500rp. The violins are picking up and so has the sunshine, this mornings shower obviously just some encouragement from up above for me to get moving. Discovery Mall is impressive and I can see it being a cash cow if they get the right goods and services in front of the punters.

Now this is the kind of post we need and are so used to!.
When Candika and I went to the Discovery Mall, I really wasn’t that impressed - too ostentatious with very little to offer. I agree with you mate, they need the right gear in there to succeed.
It’s nice to sit out the back on the steps leading to the beach and have a cup of coffee!.
