Sharyn's trip to Bali - November 2005: Security, Mozzies and Other Stuff part II
I think there are more mozzies than before, or maybe I just got better tasting. We tried everything and the only thing that worked consistently was Rid (apologies to non-Australians). I still managed to come home with 40 bites on my legs alone though, we had a bite counting party with my duty-free vodka when I got back.
Lastly and fittingly: we flew Air Paradise who have since gone under, which is a great pity for all concerned, especially the employees. Thanks to Australian Airlines and Qantas for rescuing us sans payment and especially to our wonderful travel agents at Melbourne Travel Spot for fixing everything before we even knew anything had happened, unlike some of the poor sods we spoke to who where left totally in the lurch by their agents, yeah good one Flight Centre (that was sarcasm by the way).
