The wet season is going strong and this morning we had a short, but powerful downpour. Right now outside my bedroom window the trees are getting blown left and right, skies have darkened and the rain has returned. Not exactly a beach day.
Before I got out for a walk I take a look at the sky to see if there is a chance that a distant cloud bank will get blown my way. If the answer to that is yes, I take my umbrella (23,000rp at Bintang supermarket). Trips to higher elevations will mean rain for sure, but here on the coast its possibile to get a tan.
