Scott Rush: Bali Nine
Bali Nine drug mule Scott Rush has decided not to appeal his life sentence. The 20 year old from Brisbane took the advice of his lawyer, Robert Khuana and will make a clemency plea to Indonesia’s President SBY.
Its a hard position to be in and my first thoughts were, ‘what does he have to lose?’ What he has is his life, and a Sierra Leone man will lose his after appealing a life sentence for drug trafficking. SBY is unlikely to give clemency as he has already stated he will never step in to help drug traffickers.
Basically the only thing that can help Scott Rush is a Great Escape, or a Big Solution.

I feel sorry for Scott Rush’s parents but after reading about Scott and seeing Australian Story I think that he deserves everything he gets. If he gets through this harrowing experience lets hope that it straightens out his thinking , stops being a no-hoper and appreciates his life here in Australia
