Schapelle Corby appeal: 'Top Secret' witness due to appear

The Schapelle Corby appeal will begin soon in Denpasar. Chief judge Linton Sirait said: "We have decided to hold a trial to examine additional witnesses… on 20 July." Corby's defense team wanted the appeal to begin to August 5th to give them more time to assemble witnesses.

For those who have just discovered the internet or who have recently returned from an internship at Ice Station Zebra, Schapelle Corby was arrested at Ngurah Rai airport in October with 4.1kg of 'wacky backy'. She was found guilty of drug smuggling in May and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment, currently serving in Kerobokan jail. Her main lawyer, Jakarta based Hotman Paris Hutapea has called on the Australian government to provide witnesses who might sway the court's opinion. Unfortunately for the defense, some of the prospective witnesses are themselves in jail in Australia and the Australian government will not give them immunity from prosecution.

There will be however a 'Top Secret' witness who will give evidence on Schapelle's behalf. Who is this person we ask? Let's vote on the possible candidates.

1. Alexander Downer
2. Lindy Chamberlain
3. Michael Jackson
4. Tomy Suharto
5. Deep Throat

Interesting choices of candidates. Consider them on their past and present ‘actions’:

Scenario – It’s a multiple witness situation. That is, Lindy is giving Deep Throat to Tommy whilst Michael is still searching for the baby, and Alexander takes fotos whilst Hutapea screams and sings ‘Ozzie bloody bullshit police’. This in turn causes outrage and in come the two surprise witnesses:

Bush and Howard have secretly flown in from the States and for a grand finale in front of the judges we have Howard giving Bush deep throat.

It’s all a circus on the edge of reality within a play set on the rim of the mind….

Lets face it her freedom is only down to the same thing as it always is in Indonesia $$$.
The pathetic excuse for a legal system that exists in Indonesia is nothing more than a conduit for the power of the rich and connected. Unless she pays she will stay in jail. Her guilt is of no concern to the justices.
So scary that the world will not speak out about how abhorrent a system exists in Indonesia currently.

So Scott, are you saying then that even if she is guilty that money will buy her freedom?

What about the other guy recently arrested for posession of a tiny amount of hash. No one seems to give a flying fuck about hime. Now if he had tits and looked good on telly, might be a different story.
