Scenes from Poppies Lane II
People have told me the streets are so much quieter than usual and today I wanted to snap a few shots of the area in Poppies Lane Poppies II
Across from where I was sitting I see a familiar name.
Perpendicular from Poppies II is Jalan Benesari, home to many popular restaurants.
Okay this one’s for Jason G, who loves this place. Warung 96 is known for its pizzas as well as a good menu of local and foreign food. Looking in there definitely weren’t too many customers, 3 in fact and the staff seemed happy to pose for photos.
This group wanted more.
I’ll take Sean here in the next few days, it a pretty good vibe place.

Hi, Sean
I’m surprised I’m responding, I feel so computer illiterate. It sounds wonderful in Bali. Is the water a wonderful blue and is it warm. That is my goal, to someday visit a place where the water is clear and blue. I’ve been to Maui and had a sample but I want more.
It’s fun to read the diary you and Nick are putting out. I think there are some pictures but I can’t seem to bring them up.
It’s cold and rainy here. Gee, it’s just like Bali except it’s not tropical, and it’s cold.
BNI is tomorrow and we have to pantomime our business. Should be great fun. Haven’t gotten mine together yet.
Have fun and wade in the water for me!!
