SBY’s chances of getting Indonesia on track

Indonesian President SBY has a tough job ahead of him. He has to guide the world’s largest Muslim country, which resides on the world’s largest archipelago, into the 21st Century and deal with mulitple issues, each of which could derail his government. Some people wonder if SBY is for real, can we trust him? The other day I saw a photo in the Jakarta Post of him together with the heads of together Asian countries. Presidents of countries like Singapore and Japan have it easy, as those countries have a low level of corruption. Others have opportunity for corruption and are probably taking advantage. SBY presides over a corrupt country, but is taking a stand, not taking advantage, which would be the easy route. That makes me trust him.

A recent article in Business Week, talks about the measures SBY must takes in order to get the economy on track. Indonesia has a ‘control mentality’ regarding its population and foreigners. Movements have to be reported to the police, visitors accounted for an special regulations are in place for foreign companies. China is grappling with its own control mentality, but has better infrastructure and a better educated work force.

Dealing with infrastructure, education, corruption are 3 huge things SBY will have to handle.

In regard to the prisoner leaving the Cipinang Jail

Small hint encase no one notes this problem!!

I am not wondering that people are able to get out of jail specially Cipinang Jail; when I am looking at the general security system and there operators up to the top management. I my self have a person occupying the Cipinang jail for suppose to be the next 20 years for corruption in the BNI 1.7 trill case. I made the special effort in February 2006 to confront the top management to ask them to please remove the HP,s from the prisoner (prisoners??) to not be in the power to disturbed and continue the manipulation the Victims of corruption and the free and honest population. I only managed to get a small response from the top management of Cipinang Jail (Mr. Sudarto) and fill that the honest people are being ignored and not respected by the authorities at all. The HP was removed from the prisoner but only one of the two HP,s he had, this only lasted two weeks and the prisoner ended up with the HP again. NOT GOOD at ALL!! Don’t you agree!! The Prisoners of this country appear to have more rights given being sponsored by the authorities and there operators. The free honest population appears to get no resect at all! After this incident I made anther attempt to solve this problem and reported this incident to the, I believed the real responsible people at the office Director Jenaral Jl. Veateran No.11 Jakarta Pusat. I was able to talk to the head of operation and placed my concern and expected appropriate action in my particular case.
But the promises I got from the Director PERAKYATAN after giving him all the information he needed to follow up on this and solve the problem and removing the HP,s of the prisoner in Cipinang Jail wore not followed up. Therefore I should give more resect to the subordinate Mr. Sudarto operating in Cipinang jail hue managed to remove one HP from the prisoner for two weeks???????. This so called system is sick in every way and does not need to get respected until the authorities clean up there priorities and give respect to the free honest population.
No one need to wonder that prisoners get out of jail especially if the authorities supporting the prisoners of this country. This pedicular management which supposes looking after law and order should occupy there own jail that would be the correct action. But is there anyone in this country who could organize this?? The only hope I got is Mr. SBY him self!! has to organize personally this procedure to get some sort of order into this so called system.

Note:
Understandable I do not trust your prison system at all! I will try to make sure that the particular prisoner in my case will not leave the jail before his 20 years jail term is served. I will try to visit the Jail every year to make sure he did not pay his way out of jail with these corrupt disrespectful authorities at the moment.

Hope!! to see that the prisoners do not have a better life in Jail than the honest people. Maybe there is some one who is able to remove the HP’s from all prisoners so thy can not continue Phone Banking organize corruption money and using HP,s to organize there escapes from prison.

You free to contact me if you need more details!

Regard’s from one off many Investor victim to YOU BNI corruption case

I am waiting for the time the first death sentence on corruption will be announced. But I am not to sure this will ever happen, I believe it was 3weeks ago when I thort the time has come to spell out the first death sentence on corruption again no luck! Also one point I thinks is important to luck at how does anyone expect that any Indonesian Judge would give death sentence on corruption he is looking in to his own mirror! A judge has no problem to give death sentence on drug related cases because he could say clearly he him self has nothing to do with drugs so giving death sentence is no problem! But on corruption the judges of Indonesia a not to sure what to do right! would there be any judge who would not ever had anything to do with corruption him self??????
how could anyone believe it will ever happen! Corruption in this country is killing more people direct and indirect then any other daisies!!

Quote: Dealing with infrastructure, education, corruption are 3 huge things SBY will have to handle!

Lets see if this government with there Law enforcement Judges and Prosecutors will handle the new reported criminal case against John Hamenda and all his collaborators the the correct way! The Secretary of SBY Mr. Andi received a story in 06/2007 how investors get treated and how the Law operators protects (ore NOT) Investors contracts and conditions in Indonesia! Not very promising at all! The story on the case is published in the first Sunday edition 06/2007 Majalah Tempo page 46 & 48! Because of the unexplainable court decision on the 29/05/2007 in Jakarta!
A new criminal charge has been filed against John Hamenda and all his collaborators, hope in the interest of the investment future the Indonesian court system will handle this case efficient and the way it should be! The Human Rights Office was informed and the KPK received the data to make sure the new criminal case will not be polluted with corrupt activities again! The case will proof to all investors local and inter-local if there will be a future for investment in Indonesia ore NOT! This is a very sensitive case and will have to be handled with care! The Lawyer Mr.Suhardi is handling the criminal case!
