Indonesian President SBY is on a charm offensive in the Middle East right now. The leader of the world’s most populous Muslim country carries some weight and also occupies a useful position.
SBY is a friend of the US, and can also get the ear of the Saudi’s and Palestinians. Recently SBY has been meeting all kinds of foreign representatives including one from Iran. Of course nobody swings through the Middle East without money / oil being a factor. SBY badly needs some hard cash investment, to jump start his infrastructure plans. Let’ hope he’s successful.
