Here in Bali I had an up and down day.
Hengky at Global Xtreme in Kerobokan proved to be a star by getting one his friends to come and look at my machine. Hope we can save the data on it, I’ve got a wealth of silly photos that might embarass a lot of people some day.
Did some house cleaning this afternoon and other assorted chores, taking in the laundry etc.
I had a 4pm date with Mick Turnbull at Stadium Cafe in Kuta for the World Cup rugby. The Poms won hooray la la la.
Stadium is a great place to watch a game and I was surprised at the number of English fans there and in Sydney. English rugby has improved since I was a kid, its no longer a bunch of slobs rolling around in the mud, its a a bunch of slobs with spandex shirts rolling around in the mud.
I spent a lot of money today and the killer blow for me was losing all my keys at Stadium. My keyring has my motorbike, house, safety deposit, helmet lock, pacsafe keys and I’ll have to replace these.
Rain is torrential here in Kuta and the guys from Oregon and London are arriving at the right time…its just like home!
Mick has a BBQ at his pad and I’m trying to get back to my house, kick the front door in and get out there after changing into dry clothes.
See how it goes and will let you know later.

Don’t worry about your Note Book, Nick. That machine is in the right hand. I will call my friend and ask him not to loose any data or ask him to back up before he re-formatting, if necessary.
Christ, bad news about your keys, hope somebody has handed them in at Stadium Cafe.
It rained all day here in London so at least we had something in common with Bali and Sydney.
Don’t think there’s to many slobs playing rugby for England nowadays, one thing those boys didn’t lack was fitness and preperation.
