I had planned to visit Mt Batur today after taknig care of things but dealing with articles and other stuff took too much time and I didn’t get to go.

I am working on a header for our surf section and was typing up articles with photos. Being able to edit this stuff and upoad while being mobile is so handy.

Made our gardner came round today and was cleaning up by the time I got back from Cafe Moka. Nice to see that trend continue.

I’m here in Kuta and after waiting for Internet Outpost’s speed to get to the point where I could do something I decided to go down the street and try another place. I/O is having trouble with their server which I hope is remedied quickly as they are the premier cafe in Kuta.

I strolled down to Poppies I and watched most of the Man U game. They know how to punish a weaker team that’s for sure and look like they have almost won the Championship.

Just talked to 2 Indian Malaysian IT professionals who might be able to help us with some areas of our development. Never know who you’re going to bump into in a place like this.

Now for the new article ( an interview with Patrice ).

I never knew where to find a place which telecasted football LIVE in Bali. It would be good to have a list of addresses of such places. Would come in handy for my next trip down :)

By the way, is it advisable to check in to a hotel without prior booking in Bali? What’s the situation like now? Cos if it was like in 4 months back, I believe the occupancy rates were low then.

I really enjoy reading your travels around the island. There are so many places I’ve got to visit.

Grace,

There are a few places where youcan see live soccer matches including Stadium Cafe on Jalan Kartika Plaza in Kuta ( they have 2 10ft wide screens ), Global Xtreme which is an ISP and internet cafe in Kerobokan.

The place I went to last night was a little bar / restaurant on the alley that leads from Poppies II to Poppies I.

Hotel occupancy is still down especially outside the main areas so you’ll be fine not booking before you arrive.
