It’s back again for its third year after two very successful previous years. This fun and cultural events festival highlighting Balinese art and cultural performances will be this year around the area of the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel on Jl Pantai Segara. But, it’s not only art and culture performances that will be the highlight. There will also be a food bazaar, bonsai and orchid exhibition, contemporary music performances and for the fashion aficionado, a delightful fashion show. Of course there are numerous other activities sure to please all during this five day event. As with the same last year, there will be an international cartoon exhibition, and the popular jukung festival of local village boats. Naturally the music festival will no doubt draw big crowds to the beach and all in all, this promises to be the greatest festival up until now. The kids are never left out of the activities and the kite festival will delight them and no doubt all the adults as well. One part of the festival that I am looking forward to seeing is the photo contest. The theme for the photos have to be centred around the Sanur area and prizes are up for grabs.
This is one festival in Bali not to be missed if you are over on the island at the beginning of August. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Hi Barrie matey,
I think the reason Bali Ex-PAT closed down was because of disputes with Google and some other Computer Software companies about File issues and DB issues regarding his site.
I know that a Mark Austin has had a few run ins with this Bert fella about his dodgy ways with selling Villas and moving in on other peoples business. Promisining deals he cannot carry off etc etc and also a certain gay pedophile tag he has been labelled with on more than one occaissions. Yo know me i just done a google search on him and found some not very nice information coming up before my eyes. In fact before i knew it i had some information about Bali coming up i already knew and some that was new to me.
I read one site where the owner was heaping a lot of dirt on the Police and the Chief odf police for Bali who is called a certain Mr Mastika or something similar. Several comments were on the site relating to Police and how thie monthly salary of 240$ can be multiplied and in most case at least quadrupled with bribery and traffic fines thrown in here and there along with planting of drugs on innocent people along with extortion.
Yhe Ploice i knew were not the same as say the average Oz/UK copper and certainly plays a part in my hinderance to book Bali up along with horror stories like Miss Corby and several other people who have been thrown in the slammer and given heavy duty sentences unless …. …. some money can be brought into the case and greasing of palms of certain judges and police chiefs can be arranged.
I think the advice here Barrie to any readers of this site is STAY WELL CLEAR OF DRUGS…….ANY DRUGS and BE VERY CAREFUL DRIVING, VERY CAREFUL.
Barrie i know you are well knowledgable on Bali on all fronts from where the best beaches restaurants and prettiest women drink, but i bet even you have had some close encounters of a police kind over the years in Indo and could tell a few stories.
