Pornography bill not popular with some people in Indonesia

The proposed pornography bill has generated a lot of chatter recently here in Indonesia. In western countries, pornography would be largely confined to published material (magazines, videos, DVD’s etc), but here in the world’s largest Muslim country, the pornography issue gets mixed up in everyday social things, like dress, dance and entertainment.

With groups like the Islam Defenders Front (FPI) saying they will take action if the government does not implement the law, the whole issue starts to become one of a religion imposing its will on a multi-cultural country.
