Party with Ellie and Angie in Legian Bali

Sunday night I got invited to a party hosted by Ellie and Angie, who are back in Bali for a while.

Ellie and Angie run Bali Paradise Weddings, for people who dream of getting married in Bali. This time around they brought their family, including kids and husbands, both very nice guys. The place they have rented in a lovely villa off of Jl. Double Six. Its the typical situation, you drive down an uninspiring alley and behind a cement wall is a beautiful place.

The villa goes for US$200 a night and has 3 master bedrooms, inside and outside bathrooms, large pool, kitchen, massive lounge and a couch that seats 20! Last night there were about 30 people and the event was in celebration of both their birthdays. Angie also renewed her wedding vows with her husband Ian.

The food was catered by Warung Asia which consisted of an Indonesian combo, rice, beef rendang, curry chicken potatoes, greens, tempe. It was great, top marks. Ika and Jevon didn’t go as it was too late, but will go today to swim.
