Palestinian Foreign Minister to visit Indonesia

The Palestinian Foreign Minister, Mahmud Al Zahar will visit Indonesia on May 25-27th. Indonesian President SBY is leaving no stone unturned, in his efforts to promote Indonesia, and to contribute to World stability.

As most people know, terrorist group Hamas now controls the Palestinian parliament, which has meant western nations have cut of foreign aid. The Palestinian government have been scrambling for financial help, as well as trying to
fend of a power grab inside their own country. Mahmud Al Zahar is unlikely to come to Bali, but he should, a few weeks on the beach might loosening him up.

Last night at dinner with some Israeli people, I said I think both sides (Palestine & Israel), need to start with a blank page and work from there. Someone said that it is impossible to forget history. So there you have it, they’ll keep going round in circles for the next 100 years.

Let’s hope SBY can act as a positive force when talking to the Palestinians.

there was a big article here at the new york times about how the hamas terrorist group is now part of the fake goods industry (pirated dvds, software, fake designer goods, etc). the fake goods industry is a multi billion dollar industry now. traditionally the fake goods would come from places like china. i suppose the hamas wanted a piece of the industry. so now if you’re buying one of those pirated dvds or fake chanel or louis vuitton bags, there’s a big possibility that you’re supporting the hamas.
