Muslim New Year in Indonesia

Indonesian Muslims celebrate the New Year today. January 31st 2006 is year 1427 in their calendar. I asked Ika to tell me a little bit about Muslim New Year.

Seems as though its a smaller event than the big festivals such as Idul Fitri and Idul Adha. I bought her a bar of Swiss chocolate from Bali Deli as a present.
