Mother smiles for photo in Serangan Bali

It has been a long time since I went to Serangan, and last night I was reading an article that there is a causeway across to the island now because of some hair-brain disaster scheme of Tommy Soeharto.
Has the island been spoilt that much Nick?.

yes i think that there is a causeway to
serangan. i surfed a place called turtle island while in bali and i think this is the same place. did not seem like it was an island to me so i guess it must have been spoiled! i sure could not tell that it was an island. remember lots of trash and a kinda barren landscape. Good surf there! Would like to read that article u read if its online

Actually it’s not online but in a magazine which I read in the dentist’s waiting room. Sure wish I’d pinched the mag!.
