Here’s some pictures of Sean in the forest.
Have to be careful around here as the sidewalk often has chunks taken out of it.
We met Gerry Williams and went to an expats cafe for some nasi campur. Gerry filled us in on life in Bali and we’ll meet him on Thursday for a drive around town.

Poor Nick you look like you were in pain while getting a haircut, but what does one expect for a $3.50 haircut.
Hey guys if you get the chance check out Waterbom Park (If it’s still operating) Its opposite the Discovery Kartika Hotel. Has some unreal waterslides
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for the tip. The haircut was fine, its just I have momories from ‘93 of my first Balinese haircut when the guy cracked my neck without telling me. I thought he was trying to rip my head off ( apparentely you get a free one with a haircut ).
This lady was good and took care to be detail oriented.
There’s a ton of massage and spa type stuff going on in Ubud. If we had a lot of free time who knows, I might let someone cover me with alpaca dung and a wet jellyfish wrap.
Nick
OK, the best place to stay in UBUD is KUBUKU. Awesome bungalows, set in the rice fields on the outskirts of the Monkey Forest. Only about 12 bungalows, and very private/beautiful. I paid 150,000rp a year ago.
Vegetarian breakfast on the Bale was wonderful too.
Ciao, Marko
Hi Nick,
I see you sitting in Sai Mai Bar (former Bulan Bar) in Ubud. This is my favourite place there. And in this time in January I was in Ubud, too. This my second home. Today I found this site and I’am sure I will be there very often.
Cheers Candra
